Recruitment of Assistant Professors
UTC / Carthage Business School is recruiting Assistant Professors.
Position title: Assistant Professor at Carthage Business School, University Tunis Carthage
Position Summary: Carthage Business School (CBS) invites candidates to apply for full-time faculty positions in the fields of management, entrepreneurship, accounting, marketing, finance, economics, operations and information systems, english, mathematics and statistics, decision science, and business law. The Assistant Professor position will support current and future topics of instruction and research within CBS, and develop new courses or programs. The teaching assignments and research will be related to the faculty field of expertise. The Assistant Professor is also responsible to provide service to CBS, to participate actively in school, and university-wide committees; mentoring and advising graduate and undergraduate students; holding weekly office hours; curriculum development and improvement, particularly with regard to student learning outcomes; and remaining current in both subject area and teaching methodologies.
Start Date: September 1st, 2017. Appointments are for full-time faculty positions at CBS beginning the coming academic year 2017/2018.

Requirement:

Ph.D in or related to one of the fields mentioned above.

Applicants must have a PhD from a reputed university in the USA, Europe, and Tunisia.

Possess outstanding research, and an ability to produce scholarly work at the highest level. Priority is given to applicants who have published extensively in top-tier refereed journals.

Possess outstanding teaching skills and a capacity to develop pedagogical innovation.

Personal and professional ethics.

Planning and organizing skills sufficient to ensure implementation of the assigned curriculum, job duties, and established expectations;

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Language of instruction at CBS is French and /or English. Preference is given to faculty who are proficient and able to teach in French and English.

Interpersonal orientation that encourages productive interactions with students, colleagues, and other campus stakeholders and promotes collegiality.

Demonstrate capacity to be a positive and active engaged members of the community.
