About the role:
Logistics Assistant is responsible for the smooth flow of goods and services YASSIR MARKET.
He/She works with a variety of different departments to ensure that everything gets where it needs to be on time, including raw materials and different products.
The logistics assistant is also responsible for receiving and unpacking parcels, completing relevant documentation, and dispatching stock.
What You Will Do ?
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that incoming materials are used efficiently
- Coordinating with other team members such as warehouse supervisors to ensure that orders are being processed correctly
- Communicating with suppliers regarding product availability and price changes
- Assisting with implementing new technology or other changes that could improve efficiency in the warehouse
- Preparing purchase orders for inventory items from vendors
- Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered
- Coordinating activities between internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of products or services
- Maintaining inventory records and ensuring that they are accurate
- Recording and reporting breakages, major spills, and contaminations to the Warehouse Managers
What You’ll Need ?
- High school diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field
- Prior experience as a logistics assistant
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics elements
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
