To lead technically and administratively the Electrical group of technicians, to ensure that all preventive & corrective maintenance work on electrical UPS, MCC, HVAC, etc. are implemented and HSSE and Maintenance targets are achieved in line with the company standards.
Electrical Authority on site/field.
Leads the HV, MV and LV electrical maintenance group to carry out electrical and general related maintenance on company’s process plants and administrative buildings, workshops, offices and all associated equipment and installation in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with COMPANY technical and HSSE requirements.
Issue work orders and instructions to follow-up, react and execute on a day-to-day basis all technical matters arising during oil & gas production and to monitor all field activities related to electrical equipmnet maintenance.
Provide feedback to the CMMS (Computerized Mainetenance Management Software) system in order to maintain the equipment history file.
Execute and complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities. To maintain under instruction of the maintenance Superintendent company’s electrical and HVAC equipment and rooms which are including as follows:
Provide specialist disciplinary support during the day-to-day operation.
Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site electrical equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.
Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques.
Supervise major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment including meggering, calibration, re- installation and re-commissioning.
Carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift change as and when required.
Manage special tools and ensure its valid certification.
Regular review KPIs (backlog, SCE backlog, WO awaiting material/resources/Equipment…, ) and follow-up to ensure work to be achieved as per the target completion date.
Maintain updated calendar for availability of all electrical team members for three months look ahead.
Propose and review with his line manager a training program for all electrical team members.
Prepare and review with his subordinates the Scorecard/targets for the next period (6 to 12 months)
Supervise on site all contracted electrical activities
Ensure that electrical equipment are safely released for maintenance job, and ensure that positive electrical isolation is performed.
Provide feedback to the CMMS system, work orders executed as planned.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
BSC / HND in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with a major oil and gas operator on similar operations.
Broad experience in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and power generation equipments, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk based inspection (RBI).
Knowledge of EX-maintenance and the application of ATEX standard 1999/92/EG and ATEX product standard 94/9/EG especially the application of ATEX equipment groups and temperature classes.
Knowledge of international electrical standards.
The ability to share knowledge and skills when required and support and motivate others to achieve team goals. Self-motivated, team player and capable of working in remote locations in a multi-cultural environment.
Qualification for operation and maintenance on medium-voltage electrical equipmnet (i.e. ≥ 1000V) required
ATEX certification of advantage.
Good communication and social skills, effective across a broad spectrum of nationalities and cultures.
