Lightency is a green-tech startup that acts as a software provider of a blockchain-based peer-to-peer electricity trading platform, a hardware provider of smart hubs allowing a better-decentralized energy management system, and an electricity producer in areas with low electrification rates.

Description:

• Develope and build a peer to peer trading platform using the latest Js and blockchain technologies
• Write carefully crafted, well-tested, modular code
• Present and participate in team design reviews
  Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product using a JavaScript/Jasmine/Selenium platform.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to design and launch new features.
• Implement security standards and data protection
• Propose new ideas, relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have general working experience with Full Stack development
• Come prepared with competitive knowledge of MEAN and MERN Stack, and up-to-date understanding of modern web development technologies
• Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services
• Have extensive knowledge of web development logic and syntax
• A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Think creatively AND analytically
• Be proactive and eager to learn
• Be a team player, with the ability to work independently
• Have a thirst for knowledge, especially when it comes to new technologies (IA, Blockchain, IoT)
• Ask questions! The ability to communicate effectively in French and English is key.
