FIAL OIL AND GAS is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated
Commissioning manager
to join our growing team in Libya.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
1.Payroll Processing:
-
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data input, calculations, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
2.Compliance and Regulations:
-
- Stay up-to-date with Libyan and Tunisian employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in payroll processing and reporting.
- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
3.Sage Payroll Management:
-
- Utilize Sage payroll software to manage payroll tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in Sage payroll systems.
4.Employee Support:

- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees, providing timely and accurate assistance.
- Assist employees with payroll-related documentation, such as tax forms and direct deposit setup.
5.Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate payroll reports as needed, analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis to improve processes and efficiency.
6.Communication and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate payroll-related updates, changes, and deadlines to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications :
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry or EPC environment.
- Strong proficiency in Sage payroll software and other payroll-related tools.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Libyan and Tunisian employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle large-scale payroll processes, ideally for over 400 employees.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling payroll data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
