Job purpose :

Organize, Lead, control and monitor curative, preventive and predictive maintenance of all plant equipements and facilities to ensure continuous production operations. Improves production equipements availability, performance and overall operations costs in order to maximize return on investment and meets manufacturing requirements in terms of efficiency, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops the plant maintenance organization, policy, processes, procedures and information systems (CMMS) in line with corporate standard.
• Oversees the developement of preventive and predictive maintenance plans and ensures their proper implementation.
• Coordinates with plant departments such as Production, Industrial performance and Quality to resolve maintenance problems and recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Supervises equipment and facilities maintenance effectiveness in order to minimize equipements and facilities outage in line with company’s objectives. Inspects repair effectiveness, analyses root causes of failures.
• Defines and monitors implementation of prevention, prediction and avoidance mesures. Validates spare parts needs calculation and control spareparts inventory processes such as procurement, reception, storage conditions, counting…etc.
• Optimizes spareparts consumption and inventory value in order to minimise detention cost and equipements outage time. Monitors equipements overall cost and advise about refurbishement, upgrade and replacement strategies.
• Implements new equipements and facilities projects in line with defined objectives, budget and technical specifications.
• Develops the maintenance Team Knoweledge and expertise on core wire production equipement such as Rod Drawing, Multi Drawing, Bunching, Extrusion and applicable special cables processes. Assures that technical documents related to equipements are properly kept and accessible for maintenance team.
• Prepares and controls the annual Maintenance budget and strategic plans. Prepares, communicates and review Maintenance KPI’s and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the Maintenance Department and the Company’s objectives.
• Manage projects to improve the energy performance of utilities Prepares and controls the annual Maintenance budget and strategic plans.

• Recruits and Develops a high performing Maintenance Team. †Performs other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrial, Automation…etc.)
• Functional competencies

Maintenance processes (corrective, preventive, predictive…etc.), Electromechanical skills, Pneumatics & hydrolic system skills, Automation systems, Process improvement tools (TPM, FMEA, root cause anlysis…), problem soving tools, Faults & incidents management, Data analysis, QHSE standards, Budgeting & Cost estimating, Basic Accounting, Planning and organising, Inventory Management, Project Management,Risk assessment and monitoring, Manufacturing environement

Identify and evaluate the hazards and H&S risks Project Management Tools Methods of techno-economic feasibility , Evaluation of the effectiveness of energy performance improvement projects .
