Your Mission & Your role

Profile Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tuleap L3 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on providing level 3 support, including upgrades, troubleshooting, and administration for Tuleap environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UNIX systems and administration with expertise in handling complex technical issues, ensuring the optimal performance of Tuleap tools, and assisting with system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for Tuleap, managing escalated issues from L1/L2 teams and troubleshooting advanced problems.
• Oversee the administration and configuration of Tuleap, ensuring proper setup, integration, and performance.
• Perform system upgrades for Tuleap instances, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition between versions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Tuleap, including performance bottlenecks, database issues, and integration challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improvements, or customizations within Tuleap.
• Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting, system maintenance, and operational procedures.
• Ensure system security and integrity by applying patches, performing backups, and monitoring system health.
• Monitor performance and optimize Tuleap environments for speed and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior support team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expert-level experience with UNIX/Linux systems administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of Tuleap configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with system upgrades and maintaining application stability during upgrades.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex technical issues and provide efficient solutions.
• Proficiency in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and understanding their role in Tuleap.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting in a UNIX environment.
• Experience with virtualized environments, cloud services, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent communication skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Tuleap plugins and integration with other tools like Jira, Git, or Jenkins.
• Previous experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Certification in UNIX/Linux administration (e.g., RHCE, LPIC) is a plus.
