Development of a Technical/Economical (Browser Based) Evaluation Tool for Different Cogeneration Options

in our office in Sousse (Tunisia)

• Carry out a bibliographic study on the various parameters influencing the profitability of cogeneration projects in the industrial sector and tertiaries sectors (techno-economic analysis)
• Develop a simplified generic model for evaluation calculations for cogeneration projects (annual gain, primary energy saving, CO2 saving, etc.) according to the specific inputs and requirements
• Implementation as a browser based software tool (internet)

• Student-engineer in a graduating class (Energy, Mechanical, Electrical …)
• Knowledge in energy efficiency best practices and especially in CHP units design
• Knowledge (or motivation for self-educating) in browser based software technology
• Knowledge in economical calculation for industrial investment profitability (e.g. NPV method …)
• Attention to detail
• Multilingual may be preferred or required
• Desire to be proactive and solution driven
