Analyst – Internship

Emerging Consulting is an international development consultancy firm based in Tunis, which provides a range of management and consultancy services to support international donors and implementers in executing assistance projects focused on economic growth and governance areas. Emerging Consulting is looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to act as a Tunis-based intern analyst to perform program-related research, data analysis, provide program management support to senior-level consultants and experts and help build the capacity of a wide range of counterparts, including business support organizations and small businesses.   The position entails frequent travel in the regions of Tunisia.  Fluency in English, French and Arabic along with a strong financial background, project management experience, the ability to juggle between multiple projects, creativity and flexibility of mind, ability to work independently and commitment to standards of excellence are required.

Key job functions include:

• Coordinate project activity related to counterpart needs assessment, activity definition, preparation, implementation, reporting, communication and closeout
• Develop a network of contacts in various financial sector and business support organization areas
• Liaise closely with other staff members to support program development and project management;
• Contribute to business development activities, as needed;
• Perform financial analysis, including financial modeling of projects as needed as well as the design and structuring/restructuring of the business model for small businesses.
