RESEARCHER/ADVISER – REFUGEE AND MIGRANT RIGHTS – BEIRUT/TUNIS (2721)

This is a restricted funded position.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Researcher / Adviser to join our Refugee and Migrant Rights team and be based in our Middle East and North Africa regional office. We are looking for someone to join a dynamic team that is leading both research on and developing solutions for the challenges faced by refugees and migrants globally. Willingness to travel and work in challenging contexts is essential. Remote working arrangements may be discussed.
ABOUT YOU:
You will be an experienced human rights investigator, with extensive experience of working on refugee and migrant rights issues including in Middle East and North Africa. You will be familiar with refugee law, international human rights law and standards and major developments related to the protection of refugees and migrants. A skilled communicator in English and Arabic, you will have experience representing an organization in meetings with a wide range of contacts and advocacy targets. You will be a self-starter, able to analyze situations and propose action, including the best ways to investigate violations faced by refugees and migrants and best strategies to campaign for change.
