EuroMed Rights is a network of civil society organizations working to promote and protect human rights in Europe and the Mediterranean region. Through its projects, EuroMed Rights engages in advocacy, capacity-building, and mobilization of key actors to defend fundamental rights. 

Job Description 

The Project Support Officer will provide essential operational support for the Majalat II project. Their role will cover monitoring and evaluation, advocacy, communication, and logistical coordination. 

Key Responsibilities 

Reporting and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Support 

• Assist in collecting and structuring data for donor reports. 
• Support the drafting and alignment of narrative and financial reports. 
• Ensure smooth information flow among stakeholders for effective monitoring. 
• Participate in data collection, indicator tracking, and activity analysis. 
• Assist in drafting event reports and coordinating policy briefs with partners. 

Advocacy Support 

• Conduct political and legislative monitoring and share findings with the Head of Unit and the Consortium. 
• Track advocacy objectives and identify relevant opportunities. 
• Provide logistical and administrative support for advocacy missions:  
• Assist in gathering and analyzing information. 
• Contribute to the preparation of key documents and messages. 
• Support the drafting of recommendations and mission reports. 

Communication Support 

• Contribute to the implementation of the project’s communication strategy. 
• Help update the website and digital platforms. 
• Assist in creating and disseminating content (articles, publications, visual materials). 
• Support the editing, translation, and promotion of communication materials. 
• Maintain relationships with media outlets and support awareness campaigns. 

Coordination & Logistics Support 

• Assist in organizing project activities and ensuring logistical follow-up. 
• Support the preparation and coordination of meetings. 
• Help organize events and activities with project partners. 
• Take notes and draft meeting minutes. 

Candidate Profile 

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an NGO or donor-funded project. 
• Excellent writing skills in French and English (both oral and written). Arabic is an asset. 
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools (collaborative platforms, web content management). 
• Strong understanding of human rights issues and civil society dynamics in the Southern Neighborhood region. 
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. 
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with partners, donors, institutions, and media. 

Conditions 

• Workplace: EuroMed Rights office in Rabat, Beirut, or Tunis. 
• Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract. 
• Salary: Based on the applicable salary scale.
