Python/C++ Lead Developer
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software enhancements. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

- 3D Matchmovers is a special effects company that has been working for 10 years with the biggest studios such as Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Disney, Marvel, Warner, Sony and many others on AAA projects such as Game of Thrones, James Bond, Stranger Things, Top Gun Mavericks etc.
- To succeed on such projects, the company has developed an application: Bernard Production Engine. This studio/project/team management tool is mainly aimed at the digital creation industry (films, series, commercials, animation, special effects, video games…)

Responsibilities
- Manage the team and lead it to the best
- Develop new features and interfaces for Bernard
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Conduct project code reviews with the team on a regular basis and integrate the needed optimizations and changes
- Participate in specifications
- Write user documentation
- Follow up on tickets, test deliveries from the R&D team
- Develop and have developed unit tests
- Manage the Bernard cloud infrastructure
- Develop Bernard plugins for third party applications
- Recruit and manage your collaborators

Required skills
- Excellent knowledge of Python/C++/Java and databases
- Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test-driven development including unit testing & UI testing
- Graphical databases
- Has already managed a team
- Passionate about dev and curious about the latest cloud technologies
- Likes clean code (documentation, docstrings, unit tests)
- Uses object-oriented programming, MVC
- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
- Experience in building scalable solutions
Desirable Skills
- MongoDB
- Mastery of QT

- Interest in or knowledge of 3D and digital creation tools
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
