Supporting SIG Combibloc Obeikan marketing & commercial excellence with the objectives to
Support SIG Combibloc Obeikan’s GROWTH in the cluster/ country …
• New market entries
• Entry into new categories (drinkslus, value-added dairy, food etc.)
• With an integrated solution offering (equipment, packaging & digital solutions) marketed value-based
• Ensure the implementation and regular update of initiatives defined to create Value
• Collect valuable consumer insights and support bringing digital marketing solutions to our CUSTOMERS …
• Support market & consumer insights and SIG’s connected pack solutions
• Being a part of the driving force of commercial EXCELLENCE by following up on
• Pricing intelligence & excellence (value & power based)
• Solution selling approach
• Support building SIG Combibloc Obeikan’s brand & brand reputation
• Support Cluster / Area management
• Track KPIs and update Sales & Marketing dashboard
Responsibilities:
New market / customer entry:
Support developing winning market entry / customer strategies for untapped markets / prospects in the cluster / area. This includes, market potential evaluation, category research, entry strategies (where to play) and go-to-market strategies (how to win) and holistic business cases.
Market penetration strategies:
Support refinement of the cluster/area market penetration strategy ensuring focus on right customers (winning with winner’s). Support creation and implementation of winning marketing strategies. Co-create respective sales strategy with CBOB’s regional sales teams.
Business model innovation:
Support role out of CBOB’s extended offering comprising smart factory and connected pack solutions from a sales & marketing perspective (value-based pricing model, sales approach and marketing). Aligning the same with CBOB’s core offering to ensure an integrated offering with synergetic value generation for CBOB and customers
Product Management:
Follow up on product positioning for SIG Combibloc Obeikan’s product portfolio in line with regional guideline. Challenge right product differentiation in line with pricing differentiation (good-better-best). Elaborate product argumentation in the form of presentations, system cost comparisons, competition analysis. Transfer market needs, inferred from market & category trends to concrete product ideas and report them to CBOB Regional PM. Support local Sales Team in their efforts to introduce SIG Combibloc Obeikan’s line of innovations to existing and potential customers.
Market segment & category management:
Analysis of markets and customer product portfolios. Detect market & consumer trends and new categories in the markets. Identify emerging high-margin categories. Generate ideas for (end-to-end) solutions for CBOB’s customer to capture opportunities..
Technical product management
Support development and commercialization of product argumentation of Service products in cooperation with Sales and Technical Service.
Market & consumer research:
To create and maintain a central market research platform that highlights market insights relevant to the cluster / area. Prepare relevant market insights for market-based 5 year-planning process. Support execution of insightful consumer research for customer consultancy, general strategic considerations and value-based selling. Owner of the local CSS process.
Product Communication:
Support Corporate Communication to build the brand reputation of SIG Combibloc Obeikan.
Detect customer success stories consolidate and prepare them in a suitable way that they can be used to support local, regional and global Sales argumentation.
Corporate design: Secure a consistent presentation of the company (internally and externally). This includes preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
Commercial Excellence:
Support CBOB’s commercial excellence tools. This comprises:
Tracking solution selling approaches of CBOB’s sales force
Support value-based pricing, incl. tool development (e.g. Total Cost of Ownership)
Continuous improvement of CBOB’s Customer-Relationship-Management tool as robust process & information backbone to drive business-results.
Qualifications:
Required work experience and skills:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the B2B sales, strategy and marketing field. Ability to create ideas and follow them up.
Good knowledge of FMCG & retail, preferably in Liquid Dairy and / or Beverages
Required educational qualifications:
Bachelor Degree with main focus on Marketing, Branding and Communications
Other additional requirements / pre-requisites
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English, Arabic, French
Advanced level in MS Office. (Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired: Knowledge is Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
