Position Description
Position Summary:
The Finance and Accounting (F&A) Manager is responsible for strategically managing all aspects of finance and accounting for the Tunisia field offices including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, local taxation, and audit management, as well as providing associated analysis. The F&A Manager reports directly to the Country Director and is in direct contact with the Regional Finance Director and HQ Controller. The F&A Manager will directly supervise accounting staff, and will contribute to overall strategic management of the organization as a member of the Senior Management Team.
AMIDEAST is a private non-profit, non-governmental organization that serves Tunisia through four offices in Tunis, Lac II, Sousse and Monastir that offer a variety of educational and training services for students of all ages, professionals, corporate clients, and governmental agencies. Services include English language and professional skills training, testing and test preparation, scholarship and exchange program administration, as well as a portfolio of US government grants.
